On Friday, 15th March, the school celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. 3rd classes told the story of St. Patrick ‘as Gaeilge’, through the medium of song, dance, poetry, music and drama. Earlier in the week these classes had showcased their production at the George Bernard Shaw theatre as part of Glór Cheatharlach’s, Seachtain na Gaeilge activities- Féile Dramaíochta. Each pupil received a beautiful gold medal as a memento of their performance in the theatre.
The production featured an ‘appearance’ from One Direction which really thrilled all of the pupils in the audience. Each class from Junior Infants to 6th class contributed to our celebration of our patron saint’s day and of our nation’s culture and heritage. Bhain gach duine taitneamh as an gceolchoirm.
