On Tuesday 15^th March, we celebrated ‘Proclamation Day’.  It was a very memorable occasion. We invited two past pupils to join us, Capt. Sinéad Doyle, who raised the tricolour and Amy Collins, Killeshin Pipe Band who led the school community to the flag raising ceremony. Pupils from 5^th & 6^th classes, Rasna, Heather and Alannah,  read from the 1916 Proclamation and Isra, Amelia and Eliza read from their ‘Proclamation for a New Generation’ which they had been working on over the past number of weeks. The ceremony concluded with ‘Amhrán na bhFiann’.
